Carried over from our UK programme

Students in full-time study rarely have an income, and their families often cannot cover board and books for the years it takes.

This appeal covers those costs so a student can finish what they started.

Giving with amanah

Your donation is an amanah — a trust held on your behalf, and on behalf of the household that receives it. We treat it as money that is not ours, because it is not.

That means buying at market rates and keeping the quotes, signing every handover against a register, and publishing accounts that an auditor has seen before you have.

Our promise to you

We will tell you what your donation funded, including when it did not go to plan. We will not publish a figure we cannot evidence — you will find outstanding markers on this site rather than estimates.

And we will never use a photograph of someone in distress to raise money from you.
