Anti-Fraud & Anti-Bribery Policy
How we protect donated funds, and how to report a suspicion.
Last updated: TODO_CLIENT: date
Zero tolerance
Donated money is held in trust. We have no tolerance for fraud, bribery, kickbacks or the diversion of aid, whether by our own staff, a volunteer, a partner organisation or a supplier.
Controls
Procurement above a set threshold requires competitive quotes and dual authorisation. Distributions are recorded against a signed register. Bank payments require two signatories. Accounts are independently audited annually and published.
Cash is avoided wherever a bank transfer is possible.
Partner organisations
Partners are due-diligenced before funds are released and are subject to spot checks. Funding is staged against delivery rather than paid in full up front.
Reporting a suspicion
Report any suspicion to TODO_CLIENT: email, or to the Grievance Officer if the concern involves senior staff. Reports may be made anonymously.
Nobody who raises a genuine concern in good faith will suffer any detriment for doing so, even if the concern turns out to be mistaken.
